A thoroughly modern wedding (with its own #tag #thelaitwedding) in a traditional marquee took place in a new Gloucestershire wedding venue near Painswick and was the perfect location for Tommy & Samantha Lait.
Situated on the North West lawns of Hilles House we erected a 60ft x 40ft marquee with stunning views over the Cotswolds. Adding a chinese hat to form a welcoming entrance and continue the traditional shaped theme. Champagne lining with beautifully decorated king poles and bunting created a really fun and relaxed atmosphere and a starlit ceiling provided a perfect spot for the evenings entertainment.
Complete with black and white dance floor the space was used perfectly in tandem with the outside space and allowed everyone involved to enjoy the wedding they have dreamed of. All finished off with a fireworks display and a traditional ‘Rugby boys’ salute!
Dear Mudway Workman Marquee team
Thank you so so much for our wedding marquee. It is all I could have every dreamed of, the marquee suited the venue and Matt really listened to what we wanted and designed the perfect set up to accommodate our ideas.
The chinese hat gave a welcome entrance away from the table area and the starry lit ceiling was perfect over the black and white dance floor for the party atmosphere at the end of the evening.
The hessian flooring was a late request and Graham was happy to change this and it made the whole marquee and venue fit together.
Thank you for being so easy to deal with and answering to all of my queries so quickly which made the planning process easy.
Best wishes,
Sam and Tommy Lait
